Professional Development
When I was younger and people would ask me "what do you want to do when you grow up?" I had no idea, but I knew that I valued creativity, variety, human connection, and helping people. These values pointed me towards art therapy and counseling. I completed my undergraduate degree at Capital University in Art Therapy and Psychology in 2016, then my masters in Counseling with a concentration in Art Therapy at the University of Louisville in 2018. I have worked in a variety of settings, from inpatient mental health/crisis stabilization, to community mental health, IOP and group therapy, and private practice counseling. Through these experiences I have found that I love being able to support more of my client's journey and get into deeper, individualized work in outpatient counseling. I find that I am able to connect with a wide variety of adults and specialize in helping people with trauma, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder.
Developing my holistic therapy approach
My love of learning and my own needs for more holistic self-care led me to learn more about the mind-body connection through yoga, energy work, and the counseling approaches of EMDR, IFS, and polyvagal theory. These are the practices I use to get through my own life's challenges, learn more about myself/gain new perspectives on my life, and re-integrate my mind, body, and spirit in the present moment when I'm leaning too heavily into one over the others. I am honored and so grateful that I get to share these practices and witness the healing benefits my clients’ experience.
Starting My Practice: Intuitive Souls Therapy
In the months leading up to creating Intuitive Souls Therapy, I had been feeling called to start connecting more with my own intuition. I believe the universe was preparing me to trust myself through some big life changes- one of which being starting my own counseling practice! This idea to incorporate intuition in the name of my practice felt appropriate to my journey and reflective of my goal to help other people connect with their intuition, confidence, inner peace, and most authentic lives.

Personal
Outside of counseling, I am a yoga teacher and student, reiki practitioner, cat and dog mom, and an art and music lover. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, viewing and making art, seeing live music, and getting out in nature.
